Saturday 3rd July - Liaisons Disco at the Barn Club
The Barn Club is at Marlow Bottom. Meet at 8 pm, dance till late. Food and Bar at reasonable.Prices (food until 8.30 pm). It is important that this event be supported if we are to retain it as regular feature in theprogramme. Entrance to the club for members of Liaisons is free, but guests will need to sign in.
Sunday July 4th - Walk from Three Horseshoe Pub
This is a walk of approximately five miles climbing through Horton Wood to spectacular views over Little Marlow and beyond; then descending though Little Marlow before returning to out start point. To get there from Handy Cross take the Wycombe Road towards Marlow Bottom. Turn left into Pump Lane North just before The Three Horseshoes Pub. Please park near the footpath entrance some 25 yards along on the left hand side, from where we will start the walk. (Not in the pub car park, please.) Meet at 10.45 for a prompt 11.00 start.

Saturday July 4th - Walnut Tree, Pub social, Bourne End
Come along to The Walnut Tree in Bourne End from 8.00 pm, for a drink, chat and listen to the music. You will will be met by a member of Liaisons there to welcome you.

Sunday July 11th - Walk from Bradenham
This is a moderately hilly walk of five and half miles with a three point four mile option for those wanting a shorter walk, both walks offer fine views across the wide Saunderton Valley. The long walk passes through the peaceful coombe of Smalldean Bottom and visits the villages of Lacey Green and Loosley Row. The walk starts from the village of Bradenham with its manor house (one time home of Disraeli.) To get there from High Wycombe, take the A40 towards West Wycombe and at the pedestal roundabout turn right onto the A4010 towards Princes Risborough and Aylesbury, after about two miles turn right at the Red Lion public house, after about three hundred yards there is a green on the right hand side, there is a National Trust car park at the top right hand corner of this green. Meet at 10.45 for a prompt 11am start.

Saturday 17th July - Bletchley Park Visit
Come and join us on this trip to the wartime buildings and grounds of Bletchley Park where the highly secret code breaking operations were carried out which resulted in the development of the Enigma machine. Cost £20 per person/this package includes our own guide for the day, lunch, served in a room to ourselves. As this is a group tour, we all have the same menu, let us know immediately if you have special dietary requirements. Please note: on site parking fee £3 per car is charged on Saturday. We recommend car sharing - meet at High Wycombe (opposite the Empire Cinema) promptly at 9.15 am. Organiser has detailed directions on how to get there. Book in with Organiser and pay at the desk on Tuesdays or send a cheque to the Treasurer (with name and date of event) payment must be settled NO LATER THAN 29th JUNE to hold the booking at Bletchley Park.
Sunday 18 July - Walk from Hambleden
This is a walk of approximately five miles, taking in the lovely village of Fawley. To get there from Marlow take the A4155 Marlow to Henley road, after about four and half miles and on reaching Mill End, turn right into the road signposted Skirmett/Fingest, continue on this road for about two miles, then turn right and head for the Stag and Huntsman public house. Meet in the car park at the back of the pub at 10.45 for a prompt 11am start.
Friday 23rd July - Pub quiz, "Chez Moi"
Please come along to this event for a meal of pizza, coleslaw, salad and sweet. This will be followed by a traditional Pub Quiz. Maximum 12 people. Teams will be selected on night. Please bring your own drink. Cost £10. Please book in with Organiser then either pay at the desk or send a cheque to the Treasurer.
Saturday 24th July - Trip to Ascot Races
The Landlords of the Crooked Billet have invited Liaisons' members to join them on their trip to Ascot Races. This is an opportunity to dress in style and enjoy seeing your horse win (if you're lucky). Cost of approx £46 includes the coach and entrance to the Premier Enclosure. There are restaurants and bars in the grounds. The coach will leave the Crooked Billet at 10.30 am sharp and return to there around 7.30 pm, where we will be entertained by "Inside Out" Disco, so you can boogie the night away! Bar meals can be purchased at reasonable prices. If you are unable to go to Ascot, you can still join members for the evening entertainment at no cost. Book in with the Landlords at the Crooked Billet and pay them direct (also give Organiser your name for the list.
Sunday 25th July - Walk from Littleworth Common (Egypt Woods)
This is a slightly hilly walk of approximately five miles. The walk takes us through woodland farmland and along lanes between Hedgerley and Littleworth Common. To get there from the M40 Junctiob 2 Beaconsfield, take the A355 towards Slough and after 300 yards turn right into Burnham Road signed Taplow, Burnham and Littleworth Common. After approximately two and half miles, just beyond the Jolly Woodman pub, turn hard left into Boveney Wood Lane and park in the gaps along the lane. Or, from the top of Burnham High Street. ,follow Dropmore Road for approximately two and half miles and turn right into Boveney Wood Lane just before the Jolly Woodman pub. Meet at 10.45 for a prompt 11.00 start.

Saturday 31st July - Riverboat Shuffle
For the second year running Liaisons will be joining another singles club. The boat will sail from Maidenhead, postcode SL6 8NR, to Windsor and back to Madenhead. There will be a professional disco. Please click here to see the menu. Cost is £30 for members and £35 for non members. The riverboat will be moored opposite Jenner's Cafe and we will be boarding at 7.00 pm and sail at 7.30pm. A non refundable deposit of £15.00 is required at time of booking. Balance to be paid by 16h July. Please book in with Organiser. Either pay at the desk on Tuesday or send a cheque to the Treasurer.
