Sunday 5th February Walk from Wycombe Marsh
Join us for a walk around the rural side of High Wycombe, taking in the lovely Rye Boating Lake some local woods, the River Wye and the grounds of Battersbury Manor. On return we will adjourn to the General Havelock pub, a local CAMRA pub doing good value roast dinners!! The walk is mainly flat with one incline which can be avoided if difficult for some. There are no stiles. We meet at the free car park by Kingsmead Recreation Ground opposite B&Q on the A40. From High Wycombe take the A 40 to Wycombe Marsh, which is where the new retail park is, and turn right by the Sytner Car showrooms into Kings Road (turn left if coming from Loudwater) then turn left into Fennels Road , the car park is at the end of this road by the netball courts. Meet at 10:45 am for a prompt 11am start.

Sunday 5th February -My Week With Marilyn - Norden Farm Maidenhead
If you missed this film on general release here's a chance to catch it. Great performance as Marilyn by Michelle Williams. With Kenneth Branagh and Judi Dench. Saturday 11th February - The Mersey Echoes
Marlow RBL are hosting the fabulous Mersey Echoes a 4 piece band who specialise in recreating music from the golden era of mid 60s beat music, playing covers by the Beatles, Stones, Hollies and Searchers amongst others. Some of you may remember seeing them at Hazlemere in October. The evening starts around 8pm and admission will be no more more than £10, a light buffet will be served later in the evening. To get there from junction 2 of the M40, take the A355 towards Beaconsfield, then at the first roundabout take the second exit (A40) and follow the signs to Gerrards Cross. After about one mile turn left, (signposted Jordans) and follow the signs to Chalfont St Giles. Alternatively the village is off the main A413 Amersham to Denham road. Meet in the public car park opposite the duck pond and next to the Co-op store. Meet at 10:45am for a prompt 11am start.
